$20-$24 per hour.

We seek a skilled Truck Driver who can also operate heavy equipment. The successful candidate will drive a small dump truck and operate various heavy equipment.

FULL TIME, YEAR-ROUND POSITION, HOME NIGHTLY - Aqua Blue Pools seeks an experienced, heavy equipment operator and truck driver to serve our swimming pool construction department safely and on time. This position is ideal for the driver who does not want to travel. We build pools year-round. This is NOT a seasonal position. Aqua Blue Pools has been in business for over 33 years and is one of the most established construction businesses in the Lowcountry. Wages commensurate with experience.

Candidate must have experience with:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Driving a small dump truck

Heavy Equipment Operations

Load equipment

Run Bobcats

Run Mini Excavators

Load and transport pool construction equipment from the Aqua Blue Pools Hollywood, SC location to pool construction job sites in the Charleston, SC and Bluffton, SC metro areas. No overnight.

Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues.

Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.

Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.

Collect and verify instructions for each construction project.

Report defects, accidents, or violations.

Cleaning up job sites, load construction debris with skid steer, hand work

Requirements:

South Carolina Driver's License

Clean Driving Record

Must be at least 21 years of age to apply

Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.

No recent moving or driving violations.

Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations, trucking school diploma, and valid truck driving license.

Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment safely and effectively.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Flexibility to work in varying weather conditions and environments.
