    AR Consultants, Inc. (ARC) is an archaeology consulting company located in Richardson, TX. ARC is a small business with a highly collaborative company culture. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively as part of a team. ARC is looking for a Human Resources (HR) Generalist/Administrator to fill a full-time, regular, exempt position working primarily in the office. This individual will report to the manager of operations and will be responsible for the following non-exhaustive list of duties

    • Create job posts and conduct candidate pre-screening

    • Hire and onboard new employees

    • Offboard exiting employees

    • Time sheet quality control (via Harvest)

    • Payroll (via ADP)

    • Benefits administration (in coordination with manager of operations)

    • Maintain physical and digital employee files

    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all federal, state, and local legislation regarding human resources

    • Update handbook policies as needed

    • Communicate with employees and management about HR legislation

    • Coordinate and/or instruct employee safety training as needed

    • Assist project managers with employee scheduling and coordination

    • Mediate inter-employee conflict

    • Track and implement employee corrective action as needed in coordination with other members of management

    • Answer HR related questions from all levels of staff

    • Employee relations/receive and coordinate employee complaints or concerns

    • Conduct reference, background, and MVR checks

    • Assist management team with annual employee evaluations

    • Assist with workers compensation cases

    • Other duties as assigned, based on candidate’s skill set

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in HR or related field

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in human resources

    • Current PHR/SPHR certification

    • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods

    • Experience with ADP, Harvest, and Slack preferred

    • Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the US

    • Knowledge of HR laws for both companies greater than and fewer than 50 employees

    Pay: $70,000-$85,000/ year based on experience
