Our small but mighty Thrift Boutique is hiring a retail associate! We work just doors away from some of the city's best food, drinks, art, and events, in the heart of the Montavilla neighborhood. We're looking for a kind, friendly, and responsible person to join our team and be a part of this excellent community.

We are a small secondhand shop carefully packed with as much great stuff as we can fit into it, and a small team where everyone depends on each other. Everybody does a little bit of everything here. No one will be stuck doing the same thing all the time. You'll participate in all aspects of shop life. You'll balance your time between working the cash register and otherwise assisting customers, merchandising, cleaning and organizing, window displays, and taking on side projects such as social media posts, volunteer support, and community events.

We're looking for people who are versatile and will be able to jump in wherever to fulfill the store's needs - that being said, we cultivate a team that plays to everyone's strengths, so we'll do our best to bring you into opportunities to do your favorite things and learn more about what you're interested in. This is a workplace where you’re encouraged to share your creative ideas and vision!

Welcoming, respectful, and helpful customer service skills

    Collaborative team member

A passion for style and vintage items is a plus

    Physical Requirements:

This is a physical job. You will assist with sorting and displaying clothing, books, and small home goods, and be standing or walking around the store for up to 100% of your shift. You may be occasionally required to lift up to 30 lbs.

    Work Schedule

Current store hours are from 10AM - 5PM, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The retail associate schedule will be between 9AM - 5:30PM on days the store is open, with shifts starting between 9AM and 10AM and ending between 5PM and 5:30PM.

We try to provide some flexibility in scheduling to meet your needs, but applicants who can be reliably available to work this schedule will receive stronger consideration.
