Role Summary Provides the highest level of specialized technical expertise across all aspects of the ARCHIBUS TIFM solution. This role focuses on complex problem resolution, best-practice implementation, advanced configuration, and strategic advisory support to ensure NOAA maximizes the value of its enterprise ARCHIBUS investment.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary expert for all 16 implemented modules plus new modules under implementation.
Lead complex integration efforts, custom development, and optimization initiatives.
Provide advanced troubleshooting, performance tuning, and long-term system modernization guidance.
Support enterprise-wide data standardization, business process reengineering, and expansion to additional NOAA sites.
Advise on licensing strategies, configuration best practices, and future roadmap priorities.
Mentor junior team members and support end-user training and knowledge transfer.
Participate in executive-level reviews and high-visibility deliverables (Solution Design Reports, Implementation Plans).
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field (advanced degree strongly preferred).
Minimum 25 years of progressive experience in facilities management systems and enterprise COTS platforms.
At least 12–15 years of specialized, hands-on ARCHIBUS experience supporting large federal agencies.
Proven track record on multiple enterprise ARCHIBUS deployments (on-premise and cloud).
Eligible for favorable federal adjudication and PIV/CAC credentials.
ARCHIBUS certifications (e.g., ARCHIBUS Certified Professional or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Key Skills
Expert-level knowledge of all ARCHIBUS modules, mobile framework, and Smart Client.
Advanced skills in database design, reporting, dashboards, and workflow automation.
Deep understanding of federal real property, space management, and asset management processes.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive and non-technical stakeholders.
