QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field, preferred
· 2+ years proven work experience in Employee Relations
· Working knowledge of various HRIS applications
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Good problem-solving abilities
· Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, independent judgment and be a self-starter who works with integrity, while also being a strong team player
· Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
· Superior attention to detail while multitasking
· Ability to operate under immense pressure
· Able to maintain confidential information
BASIC FUNCTIONS:
The basic function of an HR Specialist will be to provide day to day onsite HR support inside of the customer facility. This will include, but not limited to preforming internal investigations, analyzing and reporting HR Metrics, and enforcing company policies and procedures. HR Specialist will serve as a liaison between employees and management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Processing all personnel action forms and ensuring proper approval.
· Addressing any employment relations issues, such as work complaints and harassment allegations.
· Collecting and analyzing employee data.
· Respond to employees’ queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
· Coordinate exit interviews for departing employees.
· Coach management and teams to promote and facilitate career growth and development.
· interprets labor laws and administers them accordingly.
· Train managers and staff on correct use of HRIS System.
· Assist with the job posting process and administering pre-employment tests, as directed by the Site Manager and HR Department.
· Secure sensitive and confidential matters, like personnel files, employee relations, organizational changes, data and files.
· Routing various queries from managers and employees and from other agencies or departments.
· Communicate potential or critical employee issues to Site Manager’s attention.
· Coordinate current issues and matters in the organization related to HR department.
· Interact with and supply information to employees, department heads, and job applicants.
· Special HR related Projects as delegated by management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to deal with stress associated with meeting multiple deadlines and demands.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While traveling and performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to various warehouse work environment where all safety rules and regulations must be followed.
SCOPE OF AUTHORITY:
Has the authority to stop production if defective or unsafe parts or condition appear. Has the authority to reject non-conforming material from the supplier. Is empowered to prevent non-conforming material from reaching the customer.
