About the Role:

Walk Of Life Residential Care Inc is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Fairfield, CA. In this rewarding ARF DSP role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals in our care during part-time weekday AM shifts. Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and support to residents in an Adult Residential Facility (ARF) setting during during part-time weekday AM shifts,

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation

Implement individualized care plans and support residents in achieving personal goals

Administer medications and document accurately in compliance with facility and state regulations

Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional well-being to supervisors

Facilitate community outings, recreational activities, and social engagement opportunities

Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive residential environment for all clients

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required

Previous experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), caregiver, or in a residential care setting preferred

Knowledge of ARF regulations and Title 22 compliance is a plus

Valid CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Must pass a background check and health screening as required by California state regulations

Reliable, punctual, and able to work part-time weekday AM shifts, as scheduled

Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor

Valid California driver's license preferred

DSP 1 or DSP 2 certification preferred

Ability to pass a DOJ/FBI Live Scan background check and health screening/TB test
