Let us transform aviation travel and accelerate the adoption of Immersive Virtual Reality (VR) experiences at airports globally, together. Founded late 2018, ARMAGA VR is a Chicagoland-based Virtual Reality Gaming Startup.

We plan to open our first Immersive Virtual Reality Arcade Studio at Chicago O'Hare International Airport (Terminal 5), December 2018. We plan to quickly grow to 100+ airports across the United States by 2022. We are interested in highly motivated technology enthusiasts to join us in disrupting aviation travel experience.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE TEAM:

• Welcome and guide new guests to our immersive virtual reality studio (e.g., collect payments, assist guests with training, game selection and more).
• Ensure liability waivers are completed and signed for all new guest prior each VR game.
• Follow all safety procedures before starting each VR game.
• Observe all opening and closing procedures properly (including light cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and the surrounding areas).
• Manage guest waitlist and traffic flow.
• Stay alert and diagnose the condition of all VR equipment; conduct repairs as needed and adhere to regular preventative maintenance schedule.
• Sanitize all VR headsets after every use.
• Escalate issues when necessary.
• Ensure our guests have a best VR experience (from check-in thru check-out).

YOUR SKILLS:

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software/firmware and the ability to establish LAN (Local Area Networks).
• Minimum 2 years of IT experience working with hardware, servers, systems and good knowledge of Windows & Android operating systems.
• Knowledge of VR hardware & software (e.g. Steam VR, HTC VIVE, Oculus Rift, Pico AIO or All-in-One, Deepoon/DPVR ) is a HUGE PLUS!
• Comfortable lifting heavy items, standing, climbing, bending, and sitting for long periods of time on a regular basis.
• Experience assembling, disassembling and repairing mechanical components.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

• Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical component boards.
• Vocational or Technical Certifications welcomed (Associate Degree preferred, but not required).

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a clean background. You MUST pass a thorough TSA background check to gain access and clearance to the airport.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must live near Chicago O'Hare International Airport and have access to adequate transportation to commute to and from work each day.

COMPENSATION

• $16/hr. (Part-time Contract) 15 to 20 hrs per week.

SCHEDULE & SHIFT ROTATION

ROTATION 1: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

• MORNING SHIFT: 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM
• MID-DAY SHIFT: 12:30 PM - 5:30 PM
• EVENING SHIFT: 4:30 PM - 9:30 PM

ROTATION 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

• MORNING SHIFT: 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM
• MID-DAY SHIFT: 12:30 PM - 5:30 PM
• EVENING SHIFT: 4:30 PM - 9:30 PM
