Electronic Restoration Services (ERS) is a residential and commercial disaster electronics restoration company specializing in the restoration of both consumer and commercial electronics. We are currently searching for a reliable individual to join our team as a computer repair and test technician. You will be asked to work in locations affected by fire, smoke, and water. The working conditions may contain smoke particulate, a fire-charred environment, standing/dripping water, and any other conditions that may result in an insurance claim. The sites may be cold, hot, and/or humid due to weather conditions. Notice to dispatch to a site is often without advance warning. You will be encountering homeowners and family members that have recently suffered traumatic losses and you will need to possess the necessary empathy to successfully interact with them.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record

Pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and DOT health screening

Ability to lift 75 lbs. unassisted & able to stand for extended periods

Exhibit a professional, neat, and clean appearance and be customer service oriented

Preferred Experience:

Experience in troubleshooting complete systems, testing system boards, memory, processors, power supplies, peripheral cards, and hard and optical drives.

Ability to analyze system, product, or process failures.

Experience in the use of various electrical test instruments

Job Duties

Disassemble and evaluate various types of computers and electronics to be cleaned/serviced/repaired/tested/restored and re-assemble to pre-loss condition

Inventory, remove, and transport electronics and consumer appliances from homes/businesses

Deliver and reinstall electronics and consumer appliances within insured homes or business

Cooperate with direct supervision and perform duties assigned by supervisors

Cooperate with other service technicians and perform duties assigned

Inspect own work and ensure that it is complete, thorough, meets ERS quality standards, and meets or exceeds customer expectations
