Successful vascular practice with several locations in Southern California is looking to hire an Ultrasound Technologist to join our growing team of innovative healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service to our patients and treat them with the utmost respect. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with patients and health care staff. Vascular experience and special licensing is required.
Duties may include but not limited to:
Perform vascular ultrasound in the lower extremity to evaluate and detect peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and superficial venous insufficiency. Proficiency in obtaining ABI/TBI measurements and general interpretation of results is a plus. Training is provided.
Demonstrate the ability to produce high quality images
Follow an assigned schedule which will require rotation to several facilities (Chino, San Bernardino, High Desert)
Work with the office staff, administrative staff and Physicians to review the ultrasound schedule to ensure excellent and timely patient care and safety, and to maintain the patient load at an efficient and productive level.
Bilingual: Spanish is a plus
Qualifications
Certificate from an accredited curriculum for Medical Ultrasonography or ARDMS certified.
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT / RVS) is required.
Cultural sensitivity and excellent patient care skills.
Ability to work well in a high volume, fast paced environment.
Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work as part of a team.
