As a Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in understanding our customers' needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the development of exceptional software products. Responsibilities
- Strategic Consultation: Engage with key stakeholders to gain insights into business objectives and strategic goals, providing valuable input into product development plans.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with customers and team members to gather, analyze, and evaluate information, translating it into actionable product requirements.
- Product Development: Create detailed epics, features, user stories, and tasks for the development team, ensuring a clear roadmap for new features and enhancements.
- Documentation Expertise: Produce clear and concise business requirements, functional requirements, design specifications, and end-user documentation, facilitating seamless implementation and understanding.
- Design Collaboration: Work with the development team to produce wireframes and mockups that align with business needs and customer expectations.
- Data-Driven Insights: Implement KPIs to measure ROI for new features and improvements, conducting data analysis to assess the success of existing features.
- Agile Participation: Actively engage in backlog grooming, sprint planning, capacity planning, and retrospectives to foster efficient teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Validation & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough feature validation on completed work items, ensuring technical implementations precisely address the specified requirements.
- Customer Engagement: Regularly meet with customers and end-users to identify areas of improvement and gather real-world feedback to inform product enhancements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a business analyst or software support role
- Background or knowledge of tire and auto repair industry
- Experience with wireframing, design applications (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, computer science or related field
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Strong technical writing skills
- Experience in project management
- Working knowledge of relational databases
- Experience with data visualization and data analysis
- Experience with project & source code management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket
