    Do you have a passion for serving people? If so, we want you! We are looking for experienced living coaches and caregivers with caring for individuals with mental health, developmental disabilities, and behavior challenges to serve our residents in our Community Living Arrangements homes in Augusta.

     

    Altrus LLC, A Help at Home Company, provides community living support services to individuals with developmental disabilities.  We are currently seeking Developmental Disabilities Aides/Community Living Coaches for our CLA homes in Augusta, GA for all shifts. The Developmental Disabilities Support Aide provides direction and support in the activities of daily living for residents in company-operated group homes. The group home setting serves individuals in a safe and nurturing environment where they may receive personal support, transportation, assistance with meal preparation and shopping. The Aide works to provide the services needed by each individual living in the home.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must be at least 18 years old;
    • 1 or more years of experience working successfully with elderly and/or developmentally disabled individuals;
    • Ability to perform all personal support duties as needed to support the person's care plan;
    • Current driver's license;
    • Current CPR/First Aid certification;
    • CPI Certification;
    • Current TB screening;
    • Fingerprints and acceptable criminal background report; and,
    • Basic computer skills.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Will collaborate within a wider team of associates with the overall aim of continually increasing product quality and customer satisfaction. Utilize the assistance of quality technicians to gather data and facts.
    • Identifies new technology or equipment requirements to support all of the initiatives outlined in this job description.
    • Validates processes are performed correctly using the right tools, materials and correctly documented.
    • Resolving internal quality related issues and ensures quality is built/designed into the process.
    • Any product related issues impeding the organizations ability to manufacture product efficiently will be the responsibility of this individual to resolve.
    • Analyzing issues reported via customer feedback in the case entry dashboard in Epicor, maintaining records and implementing changes to manufacturing when necessary
    • Individual must have the ability to facilitate a meeting with multiple disciplines within organization to identify root cause of a quality issue. Individual must drive meeting agenda and frequency and bring identified issues to closure. Must keep manager informed of status
    • Analyze issues reported via manufacturing operations, maintaining records and implementing changes to manufacturing when necessary
    • Engages with customers and Taco technical resources to evaluate and troubleshoot existing design issues after production; utilizes aftermarket data and field-based information to expeditiously test and implement solutions. Makes design change recommendations via engineer change request
    • Develops & maintains quality management system within operations by determining what variables should be monitored and by which method
    • Conducts test stand parameter validation to product functional specifications
    • Identifies excess process variation and implements quality measurement techniques to monitor and defines quality reaction plan
    • Maintains statistical process controls by applying necessary software and tools and working in conjunction with manufacturing to sustain quality systems
    • Designs and runs product related tests in engineer lab to supplement production quality system. Modifies production quality systems based on lab findings
    • Disposition supplier quality issues (DMRs) and identifies when corrective actions are requires

    New Product Development

    • Generate/track and drive PPAP submittals.
    • Recommends modifications to existing product designs and collaborates on new product plans to determine feasibility based on the company’s capacities, timeframe and resources; works with Engineers to understand and refine final product designs
    • Assists in the administration of the final phase of product testing for product modifications, including writing test plan requests and examining test results for practicality and proof of design

     Bill of Operation & Bill of Material

    • Collaborates with Manufacturing Engineers to plan production process, troubleshoot and address manufacturing issues, including those pertaining to product drawings, Bills of Material (BOM), or product assembly
    • Audits and facilitates changes to BOM via ECR process, to ensure planning/supply chain visibility to accurate demand signals. Also ensure BOM accuracy to facilitate inventory accuracy
    • Verifies engineering compliance to regulatory standards including appropriate documentation and reporting (i.e. UL, ASME, ASSE, CSA); serves as a point of contact for audits and governing body inquiries
