JOB TITLE:               CLAIMS ANALYST

LOCATION:               LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY, US - 40511

JOB TYPE:               CONTRACT

DURATION:               6 MONTHS (HIGHER POSSIBILITY TO EXTEND)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Assists with the implementation of the corporation’s property and casualty claims management programs.
• Responsible for day-to-day activities of claims unit and communication of programs to business units.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  CLAIMS MANAGEMENT

• Supervise internal workers compensation, general liability and auto liability claims reporting, investigation and disposition
• Provide data input and maintain claims administrator and RMIS systems
• Maintain diary system and files for all claims – open to close
• Prepare loss runs, claims information for insurance renewals, year end statistical claim data
• Conduct research and other activities for legal defense matters
• Attend business unit claims reviews
• Assist in audits of outside claims administrators for effectiveness and cost containment
• Prepare self-insured workers compensation filings and claims reconciliation
• Assist with other risk management functions of the company as needed
• Assist in the development and updating of a Claims Manual for management and business units
• Gather current and historical claims activities and large losses data for management reports
• Serve as a resource to business units on claims handling issues
• Provide new locations with claims packets for claims reporting
• Assist in the review of outside claims administrators (TPAs) for effectiveness and cost containment
• Assist Sr. Risk Management Analyst in projects, other efforts
