ATHLETE RELATIONS & PARTNERSHIPS MANAGER Foundry Sports · Neptune, NJ · Hybrid

    About Us

Foundry Sports creates live sports experiences — youth camps, public autograph signings, VIP access events, and live fan experiences nationwide. Athletes are the product. This role is responsible for building and managing the relationships that make events possible.

    The Role

You own the athlete side of the business — sourcing new talent, negotiating appearance agreements, managing ongoing relationships with athletes and their representatives, and ensuring every athlete who works with Foundry Sports has an experience worth repeating. This is part business development, part relationship management, part logistics.

    What You'll Own

Build and maintain a pipeline of professional athletes across NBA, NFL, MLB, MLS, NHL, and other leagues available for signings, camps, appearances, and VIP events

Outreach to athletes, agents, managers, and representation firms to pitch and close appearance agreements

Negotiate and execute appearance contracts in coordination with company leadership

Serve as the primary point of contact for athletes and their teams from agreement through event day

Manage athlete logistics: travel, accommodations, scheduling, green room requirements, and day-of handling

Maintain a CRM of all athlete relationships, deal history, and pipeline status

Identify emerging athletes and NIL opportunities ahead of market demand

Represent Foundry Sports at industry events, card shows, and networking opportunities

    What We're Looking For

3–6 years of experience in athlete relations, talent management, sports agency, or athlete partnerships

Existing relationships with athletes, agents, or representation firms across at least one major professional league

Comfortable with outreach, pitching, and closing — this is not a passive relationship-maintenance role

Experience reviewing and negotiating appearance agreements or talent contracts

Highly organized with strong follow-through — athletes and their reps have no patience for disorganization

Discreet, professional, and calm under pressure

Willing to travel to events and signings as required

Sports industry network is the most important qualification on this list

Flexible work from home options available.
