THE ROLE
The Airline Career Placement Specialist is primarily responsible for proactive outreach and career placement assistance to ATP CFIs and Alumni. The Airline Career Placement Specialist will also identify placement opportunities for graduates, complete Pilot Record Improvement Act (PRIA) requests, and capture graduate placement data, while acting as the initial point of contact for communications to ATP Career Services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer and screen incoming calls to ATP Career Services
- Assist Manager of Career Services with initial review of ATP student and graduate resumes
- Source and review pilot job listings on PilotPool.com
- Provide proactive outreach to graduates to educate and promote ATP Alumni Association, external placement assistance resources
- Promptly resolve ATPAlumni.org registration and FIRC support requests.
- Complete employment and/or education verifications for 1099 Independent Contractors
- Utilize employment and/or education verifications and CTP scheduling data to assist in accurate tracking of graduate placements
- Respond to Airline Career Pilot Program reviews from Alumni
- Solicit program testimonials and photos from Alumni
- Conduct routine Career Services outreach to low time instructors
- Provide administrative support reconciling partnership record releases
- Maintain airline profile databases and ensure content accuracy on airline partnership landing pages on a routine, monthly basis.
- Completes other duties as assigned
- Travel may be required, as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school required. Some college coursework or degree in business, communications, aviation, marketing or related fields are preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in a flight education or aviation role.
- Prior knowledge of Pilot Records Improvement Act (PRIA) preferred.
- Computer proficiency required; experience with ATP software and systems preferred.
- Some travel required.
