Job Description

As a Business Analyst II, you will support ATPCO’s Global Taxation Services team and work closely with airlines, data providers, subscribers, and other industry organizations to support ATPCO tax related products and strategy. You will be considered a subject matter expert in your responsibilities and lead others by creating and ensuring established business processes and procedures are followed.

You Will:

• Oversee the operations of the Tax team responsible for various duties from analysis, data entry into ATPCO applications, customer support in the use of our applications/products, to problem solving in data reports and requests
• Support different initiatives related to Tax Industry Standards and Tax Data Application adoption through the Tax Design team and any other industry forums
• Understand and analyze complex customer requirements, perform needs analysis, and produce detailed documentation and recommendations for stated requirements
• Effectively explain and present product functionality to various levels of users internally and externally
• Provide leadership and guidance for assigned projects (including large and long-term projects)
• Recommend business process improvements or efficiencies within the department and across the division
• Understand and analyze complex product processing issues or program malfunctions and communicate them effectively to the appropriate stakeholders
• Provide testing support for new products and product enhancements
• Provide on-call support for urgent issues after hours

The Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, International Relations, or Aviation
• Prior work experience in an airline customer/data/product support role
• Understanding of Airline Pricing/Revenue Management or Revenue Accounting procedures is required
• Knowledge of Passenger Domestic and International Fares Rules is highly desired
• Experience with Passenger Interline Pricing and Proration methodology is beneficial
• Familiarity with global airline alliances, interline/codeshare relationships is a plus
• Knowledge of TTBS/Taxes, GDS itinerary pricing, EMDs, Optional-Ancillary Services/Baggage is a plus
