Job Summary:
Job Responsibilities:
The incumbent will perform mid to expert-level break-fix and preventative maintenance. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Identifying and sourcing parts, supplies, and repair items when necessary.
Independently performing maintenance according to industry standards.
Setting up and operating multiple machining operations, including but not limited to: lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. May perform welding tasks.
Complying with 5S and housekeeping standards.
Driving and participating in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities, including processes, results, and cost savings.
Updating records and reviewing CMMS history.
Troubleshooting and analyzing control systems to resolve software/hardware and configuration problems.
Utilizing predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data.
Providing assistance to lower-level technicians and leadership to small teams. Performing more advanced functions as part of training and development.
Completing on-the-job and technical self-study programs for career development.
Following all safety-related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions, and guidelines. Maintaining situational awareness and identifying unsafe behaviors and conditions.
Job Qualifications:
High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
Ability to understand electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems. Can analyze problems and perform repairs.
Ability to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
