ABOUT THE ROLE
ATTOM Data Solutions is seeking an experienced Platform Product Manager who will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for our data platform solutions. The person in this role will create and drive the vision and roadmap for these solutions and work cross-functionally with various teams to plan, develop and successfully execute on the strategy. This role requires a strong technical background and understanding of API and cloud technologies.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Define a product roadmap and strategy to deliver continuous business value and drive adoption of our data platforms
- Deeply understand the needs and pain points of our current developers and customers; be the “voice of the customer" to help inform and prioritize product roadmap
- Serve as the internal product evangelist by articulating the value of the product through written and verbal communication.
- Adapt requirements and feedback into functional specifications and user stories that are ready for development
- Partner with engineers to ensure that the product roadmap is delivered in a timely, predictable fashion, with high quality, by managing and planning team sprints, coaching, and guiding execution
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Understand data dictionary and relationships at a use-case level including how each is used by customers
- Create and manage any and all developer and customer-facing product and implementation documentation
- Develop pricing strategies and product policies
- Coordinate with Marketing and public relations to promote product and provide input on marketing collateral
- Support sales and marketing with the necessary product knowledge and technical expertise
- Manage product-related support, feedback and inquiries from internal sales and customer support teams
- Conduct product presentations as needed
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or similar fields
- 5+ years of experience in product management with a proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Teradata or Microsoft Synapse
- Proven experience delivering API products using GraphQL, REST and other web service architectures
- Deep understanding and experience with agile development methodologies, including scrum
- Ability to write effective technical requirements such as User Stories, Epics, and Use Cases that capture requirements from Product and clearly articulate scope to Engineering.
- Experience collaborating and driving data engineering teams toward predictability and consistency, backed by metrics
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or other similar software, preferred
- Knowledge for Real Property Data, preferred
