AudioEye, a publicly-traded company headquartered in Tucson, AZ, is hiring for the software development office in Marietta, GA.  As our team and roadmap has grown, we've realized a greater need for QA and Dev to help us keep our releases smooth and bug-free.

Who are we?

AudioEye is a software and services company that fixes the Internet for people with disabilities. Our clients rely on us to provide software to identify issues of accessibility on their websites, and either AudioEye or our clients then use AudioEye's DAP platform to remediate these issues. POSITION SUMMARY

Our developers are hard at work on some pretty aggressive roadmap milestones and need assistance with QA and bug fixes.  Your job (likely for the first couple months) will be to assist in solidifying the QA processes and building automated regression tests.  Once we have a foundation in place that all parties are happy with, you will then transition into the development role, working through the issues uncovered by users, employees, and the automated testing platform. This position requires solid JavaScript skills as well as some background in or exposure to automated testing tools.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Must be able to work from our Marietta, GA location without relocation or other expenses
• Must have a strong command of the English language, both verbally and in writing
• Exposure to Mac preferred; basic Linux skills preferred.

Must have understanding of:

• AJAX, REST-ful API interfacing, and JSON
• Object-oriented and/or functional programming in scripting languages like JavaScript, PHP, etc.
• Some Sequel programming
• Git and basic Bash
• Version control with Git
• Unix command-line line (Basic bash commands and navigation like cd, ls, ssh, etc.)
• PHP & Javascript Unit and End-to-End Test Development: Maintaining, updating and expanding our automated Unit Testing systems with goal of becoming ever more automated

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 2+ years experience in web development

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Selenium, Nightwatch, Karma, or other browser testing framework
• Mobile OS development experience (iOS, Android or React Native)
• Node.js and WebSocket
• Web Accessibility
