    POSITION SUMMARY

    The PR & Communications Manager will oversee customer, partner, and corporate communications campaigns.  PR & Communications Manager should be a creative thinker - constantly looking for opportunities to tell the stories of and about AudioEye to generate media coverage while supporting our strategic positioning, as well as come up with out-of-the-box strategies and tactics to drive brand momentum. This person should be passionate about AudioEye’s mission and able to share our vision with the press in a clear, concise, and impactful way.  

    This role will report to the Sr. Director of Brand and Communications and will be responsible for managing external agencies as well as building direct media engagement in the US and beyond while partnering with key internal stakeholders including the rest of the Marketing team, Business Development, Sales, Product and Finance. 

    The PR & Communications Manager will also support and contribute to relevant Brand initiatives including media campaigns, events, sponsorship activities, and social media.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENT(S)

    • Develop and execute PR strategies and plans that deliver on AudioEye’s vision and elevates the story of the company beyond what it is today
    • Define and articulate the AudioEye narrative with clear and direct links to brand and business objectives
    • Manage media and analyst relations and maximize media opportunities related to platform news, partnership announcements, customer stories, industry/market trends, and relevant integrated campaigns
    • Interface and coordinate with partners on relevant communication campaigns and initiatives.
    • Manage PR agencies to drive consistent storytelling across our relevant markets and audiences
    • Partner with Finance and Management team to develop and execute a timely release of corporate communications and investor relations announcements
    • Manage owned content including reviewers’ guides, campaign assets, and relevant press website content 
    • Drive and support event marketing initiatives including webinars, sponsorships, meet-ups, and more
    • Develop and manage a robust metric and reporting program to create clear accountability and regularly measure the success of Communications efforts across all stakeholders
    • Contribute to other relevant Brand initiatives including but not limited to social media, content marketing, integrated marketing campaigns

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

    Competency Statement(s)

    • Proven track-record maximizing performance from external PR agencies 
    • Written & Oral Communication – Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word and ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely. Excellent writing and proofreading skills. Writing samples may be requested
    • Brings existing media and/or analyst relationships, having worked in prior roles that called for direct pitching  
    • Previous experience with Investor Relations for a public company
    • Experience developing content, activations, and messaging that puts your audience first
    • Comfort guiding executive teams to make decisions that best support PR and brand objectives
    • Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals and guide/lead diverse teams
    • Ability to inspire oneself and others to reach a goal and/or perform to the best of their ability
    • Ability to organize and complete complex projects
    • Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines
    • Must be organized and detail-oriented to efficiently execute and manage a variety of projects simultaneously

    SKILLS & ABILITIES

    EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Business, Communications or Marketing. MBA preferred but not required 

    EXPERIENCE: 3+ years in a senior leadership role                     5+ years leading cross-functional teams and agencies                     10+ years in Marketing                     A mix of large and small company experience                     Experience in SaaS and/or Technology required                     Consumer Branding/Marketing experience required                     Accessibility industry experience a big plus;                     Brand, Creative, Product Marketing, Digital Marketing

    COMPUTER SKILLS: Mac proficiency                                                        Experience with CMS                              Familiarity with SFDC, Marketing Automation platforms                              Familiarity with analytics and BI tools
