    Position: AV/VTC Technician

    Location: Ft. Eustis, VA.

    Clearance: Active Secret

    Responsibilities:

    Provide on-site AV/VTC support, including troubleshooting for a variety of AV/VTC equipment such as Cisco-based conferencing systems and Microsoft Teams.

    Perform daily VTC setup, scheduling, issue resolution, maintenance, equipment replacement and installation, live in-call support, and user training.

    Creatively troubleshoot and work around conference rooms that are “hard down.”

    Rapidly identify and resolve technical issues to reduce downtime in conference rooms.

    Provide configuration support including driver builds and firmware updates for preventative maintenance of Cisco VTC and Windows-based systems.

    Support customer requests, VTC meetings, and sessions across 10 different VTC rooms.

    Work with and support both Cisco and Windows-based AV systems.

    Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of monitors, projectors, videoconferencing systems, and Windows environments.

    Maintain site inventory and spares using appropriate database tools.

    Execute and complete Quarterly Preventative Maintenance (PM) projects and submit weekly status reports.

    Monitor and manage break-fix tickets through the client’s ticketing system.

    Provide AV/VTC support over both NIPR and SIPR communication networks.

    Support Microsoft Teams conferences on both SIPR and NIPR networks.

    Provide support for Skype for Business VTC systems, following the same operational standards as Cisco and Polycom VTC systems.

    Required Skills:

    Active Secret Clearance

    Security+ CE Certification (IAT Level II)

    CTS Certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)

    Minimum 2+ years of audio/visual experience

    Proficient in Microsoft Teams (intermediate-level knowledge) including peripheral device troubleshooting (microphones, cameras, drivers)

    Strong understanding of integrated AV signal paths (e.g., scalers, switchers, DAs, extenders) for high-level troubleshooting

    Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Windows operating systems
