    Avail is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an Outside Energy Services Sales Representative.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    As an Outside Sales Representative, you will:

    • Develop and maintain relationships with an assigned customer base, including key accounts, ensuring their continued satisfaction with our products and services
    • Assess customer’s savings possibilities and guide them through the energy performance proposal and contracting process, including qualifying for utility rebates and finance
    • Develop and maintain vendor relationships for lead development and identification of market opportunities
    • Monitor sales trends and product performance results
    • Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the field
    • Coordinate and cooperate with other members of the operations and sales team to ensure an accurate technical and financial solution meeting or exceeding the customer’s needs
    • Participate in strategy sessions with sales team members regarding successful sales principles

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Prior sales experience is required with prior experience in Energy Services Sales strongly preferred. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. A successful Outside Sales Rep will possess the following:

    • Be coach-able and an eager learner
    • Enjoy being a team player
    • Demonstrated sales lead development and account cultivation skills, including effective negotiation and closing techniques
    • Lighting, refrigeration, solar or other energy products and services sales experience
    • A high level of motivation and professionalism
    • Good communication skills, time management skills and self-motivated
    • Problem solving, leadership and listening skills
    • Product and vendor knowledge (and the ability to quickly learn it)
    • We conduct a criminal background, DOT and drug screen
