    Position: Business Continuity Consultant (Contract)
    Status: Contract

    Location: Berkeley, CA - Candidates must be located within a  commutable distance to Berkley, Ca.
    Salary: Based on Experience ***Seeking candidates with 2+ years business continuity planning expertise.  Compensation will be based on the level of expertise.

    * Candidates must have authorization in place to work in the USA.
    * Offer will be contingent on passing a background check.
    * Seeking candidates with
    2+ years’ experience in business continuity planning.
    * Work location will be remote and eventually onsite once the client secures their safe return to work policy.

    A boutique consulting firm is seeking a business continuity professional to add to their first class team as a contract/ contract-to-hire consultant. The successful candidate will serve as a consultant to assist in delivering complex business continuity-related services to satisfy advanced requirements. This position will involve project management, delivery and participation in client activities.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher required
    • CBCP, MBCP, MBCI or FBCI preferred
    • Minimum of 2+ years performing business continuity consulting services (business-oriented, not exclusively technology-oriented)
    • Outstanding writing and presentation skills
    • Superior analytical skills
    • Familiar with designing or performing all aspects of the business continuity lifecycle (program design BIA, risk assessment, strategy development, plan documentation, exercise facilitation, training and awareness, assessment)
    • Experience and ability to deliver outstanding, second-to-none client service
    • Flexibility and creativity when it comes to applying industry practices to solve complex problems
    • Familiarity with enterprise risk management concepts and practices
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
