    Position Summary:

    AVB Marketing is looking for a results-driven leader to accelerate growth and brand awareness through the development of best-in-class, innovative, and channel-specific creative content to be leveraged across all digital e-commerce channels. Working under the Product Management Team (reporting to the GM of Marketing Products), this individual will be responsible for creative strategy, content development, optimization, and reporting.

    This position will lead and grow a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of passionate and amazing creatives. The following sub-departments will fall under the Design and Creative Operations role: design operations, creative project management, digital marketing design, web design and working cross collaboratively with other departments to breakdown silos and solve for both quality and quantity of design work.

    The ideal candidate has a high proficiency in complex digital marketing and deep knowledge of e-commerce platforms. You have a pulse on industry trends and creative UX/UI best practices. On top of it all, you thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume

    environment and have a competitive attitude towards improving creative performance. Creative - Your main responsibilities include partnering with the Senior Director of Digital Strategy and their team to shape the Creative execution for promotions and evergreen collateral related to digital marketing. You will be the main creative stakeholder to help with ideation around the team’s strategy, resource planning, and accountable for balancing priorities to meet or exceed deadlines. In addition, you will partner with the Art Directors of Design and the team leads from SEO, copy, operations, events, and strategy to run the day-to-day. Design - You will lead two distinct design teams each that serve critical roles in our organization's success. Setting overall team strategy and process development/improvement will be well within your wheelhouse to make sure these teams are well oiled, on-track, and has the support they need. Working with the Art Directors as your primary stakeholders to ensure they are being kept in the loop no matter the complexity of the project/program. Operations & Project Management - Working closely with our Project Managers, Trafficking teams, and Marketing Leadership to set overall strategy and structure to ensure deadlines are being met will be a focal point for this role. Familiarity and experience working towards project milestones and juggling competing tasks with overlapping deadlines is a must!

    Job Functions:

    · Run the day-to-day operations of the creative team and lead/assist in setting creative strategy and team structure conversations.

    · Continuously review and find ways to improve existing process to respond to feedback, identify areas where process is missing, and implement training and support for new process rollouts.

    · Comprehensive reporting and understanding of time-to-task costs will be a core focus of this role.

    · Carefully balancing and prioritizing the input and output of work to best support companywide growth initiatives and critical customer needs will be a key component of this position.

    · Be a champion of the creative education process with other departments in the organization.

    · Collaborate and partner with key stakeholders and outside agencies/vendors to lead projects and programs for the marketing team and beyond.

    · Lead and be ultimately accountable for all creative projects delegating to the creative team leaders appropriately.

    · Lead larger-scoped cross-functional programs for national marketing campaigns.

    · Mentor and manage a growing operations and creative team to help cultivate personal and professional growth.

    · Be a thought leader and the ultimate collaborator to your cross-functional teams.

    · Alignment and knowledge sharing between departments including a close partnership with our Ad Strategy, Client Services, and Ad Operations teams.

    Qualifications:

    · 8-10 years of experience in operations in creative, brand, and marketing (project and program management - must have experience working with larger cross-functional programs).

    · At least 5 years of management experience.

    · Experience working both in-house and at agencies is preferred.

    · Demonstrated ability to set annual team strategy and goals and follow them through to completion.

    · A deep familiarity and understanding of creative workflows (including the mix of global to local creative) and marketing channel experience for everything from emails to social to paid search.

    · Experience leading large creative teams with competing projects and resource management.

    Skills:

    · Ability to be a strong team player, willing to roll up your sleeves and lead projects/programs as needed is critical to success.

    · Strong organizational and time management skills as well as written/verbal communication.

    · A genuine passion for operations and an understanding of how efficient operations feed into the larger organizational success.
