JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for estimating, forecasting, project/program reporting, scheduling, cost analysis, project coordination, project controls.
• Collaborate with engineers and assist with daily tasks
• Physically pull and layout 20x20 plans
• Review, interpret, and understand the mechanics of the 20x20 plans
• Input plan, job details, and make needed updates in Access database
• Schedule and dispatch SCADA instructions & schedules to field crews
• Develop plans and work schedules in collaboration with crew foreman and make adjustments in a timely manner
• Perform end-of-day SCADA scheduling and dispatching for the following day
• SCADA switch operations, which consists of understanding the electrical grid and auto matrix SCADA switches
• Access database creation/configuration

EDUCATION:

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years Hands on experience with database management and formal technical skills training (i.e., MS Office, MS Access, Databases, etc.)
• Computer science or experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced MS Access or database management skills
• Computer savvy with ability to learn new programs like SCADA
• Understanding of electrical and utility experience
• Ability to read, review, and understand the mechanics of plans in order to properly document and communicate plans
• Experience with Microsoft office
• Ability to learn SCADA communication data flow and protocols
• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot systems software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Establishing and keeping deadlines and goals
