You will work closely with our senior attorneys and founder, conduct legal research, negotiate and draft contracts and trademark applications, and counsel clients directly (well, over zoom). Responsibilities: Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff • Ensure that all legal documents, contracts, copyright and trademark filings, briefs, and correspondence have been thoroughly researched, drafted, reviewed and revised in a timely manner and in accordance with AWB Firm standards of practice Qualifications: Successful completion of the bar exam Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school • 3-5 years law firm or in-house legal experience • Experience counseling clients on business + trademark issues • Innovative + problem solver - willing to try to figure something out on your own before asking for help • Not a jerk! Gets along with others + works well with our team and clients • Coachable, receive feedback with ease • Curiosity - you read self development books and listen to marketing podcasts, or have other hobbies where you’re learning or trying new things in your spare time Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000 yearly
