    Job Description

    The Jr. Data Analyst will be working as a part of the Analytics team which is primarily responsible for leveraging data and visualization tools to create informative analysis and dashboards to help enable the businesses to make impactful decisions.

    What you'll be doing:
    A Jr. Data Analyst is responsible for assisting with the development of analyses and visualizations within Tableau, Excel and other AWP applications, while adhering to best practices. With limited assistance, the analyst will develop ad hoc analyses, and prototype scalable analytical features. This role requires an entry level understanding of data visualization principles and data gathering techniques.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Develop and maintain analyses
    • Scale new analytical features while maintaining usability and performance
    • Work closely with business areas to deliver on roadmap items
    • Systematically connect disparate data sets for analysis
    • Solve analytical problems and technical challenges associated with analyses
    • Iteratively improve analyses based on user feedback and needs
    • Collaborate with and senior team members on best practices
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 2 or 4-year college degree in Analytics preferred.
    • Data visualization experience using Tableau preferred.
    • Advanced Excel skills required.
    • A professional or demonstratable informal background in analytics and/or data visualization
    • SQL experience preferred
      • Strong knowledge of our database architecture is expected within 6 months of starting.
      • Familiarity with Salesforce and/or TCR data preferred.
    • Organized with an intense focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as meticulous attention to detail
    • Ability to develop, foster, and manage customer relationships.
    • Hours of operation are typically 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., M-F
    • 40 + hour workweek
    • Primarily sedentary or working at a desk
    • Occasionally lift and move 10 -25 pounds
    • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, or reach with hands and arms.
