Role Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level AWS Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and support secure, scalable AWS infrastructure across enterprise environments. This role focuses on cloud engineering, automation, monitoring, and operational reliability.
Utilities industry experience (energy, power, water, grid operations) is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure
Design and maintain scalable AWS environments supporting enterprise workloads
Implement secure networking, compute, storage, and IAM configurations
Support migration and modernization initiatives
Build high-availability and disaster recovery architectures
Automation & DevOps
Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
Automate provisioning, patching, scaling, and operational workflows
Support container platforms including ECS, EKS, and Docker
Monitoring & Security
Configure CloudWatch monitoring, logging, and alerting
Troubleshoot performance and availability issues
Enforce AWS security best practices (IAM, encryption, network controls)
Support multi-account governance and compliance standards
Data & Application Support
Deploy applications across AWS compute platforms
Manage S3, EBS, RDS, and DynamoDB environments
Implement backup and lifecycle management strategies
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
2–5 years of hands-on AWS engineering experience
Experience supporting enterprise cloud environments
Utilities domain exposure preferred
Ability to collaborate across distributed US and India teams
Technical Skills
AWS Services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, Route 53, CloudWatch Containers: ECS, EKS, Docker, Auto Scaling, Load Balancers IaC: Terraform, CloudFormation CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline Databases: RDS, DynamoDB Security & Networking: Security Groups, NACLs, IAM policies, encryption Scripting: Python, Bash, or PowerShell Monitoring: CloudWatch, CloudTrail
Certifications Preferred: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
