    Job Summary:

    The AZDOR - Processing Specialist - Data Entry role is a crucial position for the Arizona Department of Revenue. As a specialist in this fast-paced, production environment, you will be responsible for entering tax-related data with exceptional speed and accuracy. You'll process confidential information from various tax documents while adhering to high standards of precision and efficiency. Attention to detail is key, as is the ability to handle a high volume of data entry tasks and perform error analysis and correction. This role offers a unique opportunity to support the Department of Revenue and contribute to critical functions related to Arizona’s tax operations.

    Responsibilities:

    Data Entry: Efficiently enter customer and account data from imaged tax documents into the appropriate systems.

    Review & Correction: Analyze and validate documents that require detailed review and correction.

    Policy & Procedure Adherence: Follow established guidelines and consult procedural manuals to ensure compliance.

    Independent Work: Ability to work autonomously while maintaining high productivity and accuracy standards.

    Time Sensitivity: Maintain speed and accuracy in a time-sensitive environment.

    Required Skills:

    Proven experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail).

    Minimum 60+ KPH (Keystrokes per Hour) data entry speed.

    10-key skills: A minimum of 15,000 keystrokes per hour.

    Strong mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, average, percentage, and interest.

    Critical thinking & problem-solving: Ability to analyze and correct errors in data.

    Attention to detail: Essential for high accuracy in processing sensitive and confidential information.

    Research skills: Ability to independently verify and validate documents requiring deeper review.

    Time Management: Able to manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    Preferred Skills (Optional but Preferred):

    Tax domain knowledge: Experience or familiarity with tax-related data entry is a plus.

    High adaptability: Ability to shift priorities as required in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

    Job Requirements:
