ABA Squad, a growing organization with programs in Missouri and Florida, is an ABA clinical company that provides high quality, ethically oriented applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. 

Our services include ABA therapy, social skills groups, school-readiness preparation, tutoring, early literacy training, and parent and professionals training. We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Human Resources Specialist to work in our headquarters in Doral, Florida.

WORK LOCATION

Doral, Florida

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Forecast hiring needs and ensure recruitment process runs smoothly
• Conduct interviews for therapists on a weekly basis
• Prepare offer letters and follow-up with revisions
• Coordinate all training phases for candidates and ensure completion
• Send on-boarding documents to new hires
• Collect and organize all new-hire documents
• Set up new credentialing for company
• Follow-up with credentialing companies on a routine basis to ensure effective dates are received promptly
• Attend job fairs and recruiting related events when necessary
• Process termination forms for employees when necessary
• Process new insurance company changes
• Set up CAQH applications and maintain renewals on a continuous basis
• Assist with the credentialing information for insurance audits
• Process all initial credentialing applications for clinicians
• Coordinate documentation renewal with insurance companies for all providers
• Process all contract renewals and coordinate raises when necessary
• Process employee reimbursement
• Assist with BACB examination registration
• Process all raises and job changes for employees
• Coordinate Employee Handbook updates
• Process employee payroll on a bi-weekly basis
• Coordinate Open Enrollment benefits on a yearly basis for all employees
• Process all PTO for employees and keep track of remaining time
• Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
• Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records
• Monitor budgets by department
• Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation
• Work with other administrative departments to ensure efficient operations

QUALIFICATIONS

• Dependable and strong problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Proven work experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist
• Understanding of labor legislation and payroll process
• Familiarity with full cycle recruiting
• Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), such as Run preferred
• BSc/MSc in Human Resources or relevant field preferred
