    Product Owner Abacus Insights Inc. - Burlington, MA $90,000 - $120,000 a year Abacus Insights is seeking a Product Owner who can deliver on our vision of a data management technology platform that will responsibly democratize access to health care data for our clients. We are currently focused on product delivery of the initial version. As the Product Owner, you will be the glue that holds the scrum team and technical and business stakeholders together to execute on this delivery. You will gain intellectual command of the systems architectural components and how multiple technologies come together to deliver customer value in the form of functionality, quality, and security. You will also assist in the preparation of management reporting collateral related to roadmap execution and attainment. Your time will be spent working closely with Architecture, Product Management, and Engineering. You will report to a Director of Product Management. In this role you will support Product Management and Product Development by: * Gathering inbound product requests * Creating product features/use cases * Managing the product feature backlog (grooming and prioritization) * Creating User Stories and Acceptance Criteria for Scrum Team development * Interfacing with Engineering and Architecture on Release Train prioritization and planning * Interfacing with Client Management for Product support during client engagements * Participating in the scrum team Location This role is based in Burlington, MA. Preferred Skills and Experience * 3 to 4 years of work experience in a product role, preferably working with back-end or data systems and leading complex projects from inception to conclusion * Experience with Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) and/or healthcare data analysis highly desirable * Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders such as Product Management, Architecture, Information Security, Engineering, and Customers * Ability to: * Prepare business use cases, requirements, and definitions for our product backlog and sprint grooming * Participate in the Agile sprints, including sprint grooming, planning, estimation, Scrum reviews, demonstrations, and retrospectives * Prepare user stories and acceptance criteria, interact closely with our development teams, and provide clarity and guidance throughout the product execution and delivery * Review platform issues and establish the priorities for remediation with the development team * Prioritize a backlog in line with Architectural and Product guidance, negotiate scope and schedule to accommodate business needs, and identify when escalation is needed * Balance operational escalations and interruption to planned work without jeopardizing predictable delivery cadence * Ability to learn quickly and be self-sufficient in a highly technical environment * Comfort with the pace and challenges of a growing and scaling company Education: * BA/BS or equivalent experience; a Masters is a plus Job Type: Full-time Salary: $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 /year Experience: * Scrum Master: 5 years Education: * Bachelor's Location: * New York, NY Required work authorization: * United States Required travel: * 50 20 hours ago - save job
