    Financial Analyst

    • Research and reconcile expenditures on a monthly basis.
    • Ability to learn quickly and retain information.
    • Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
    • Assist with review and reconciliation of expenditure transactions and other programmatic data at it relates to Operations monitoring
    • Assist the accounting specialist with the preparation of monthly expenditure reports.
    • Will complete a thorough review and analysis of expenditure data, assist with the preparation of correcting entries for expenditures and/or revenue that have been coded incorrectly in the states' accounting system.
    • Must be dependable and have excellent attendance.

    Education:

    • This position requires a bachelor's degree in any major with at least 24 semester credits in one or a combination of the following: accounting, finance, or economics or one – two years of professional experience providing a systematic review, analysis, interpretation, and/or evaluation of budgets, mortgages, loans or other financial data.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Candidate should possess strong analytical and math skills, good writing skills, and good verbal communication skills and good organizational capabilities.
