JOB SUMMARY

The entry-level Purchasing Associate receives the training required to purchase electronic components and computer hardware products, with the potential to move into higher levels of responsibility in this role. Duties include but are not limited to handling purchase requisitions, as well as researching, identifying and recommending potential suppliers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Two years college education (preferred)
• Job-related experience (preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Ability to process, expedite, source, and purchase orders
• Ability to mitigate risk and build long term relationships with vendors
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks
• Ability to negotiate and manage multiple tasks
• Resilience, tenacity, strong character, great work ethic

COMPENSATION

• Starting Salary: $600 - $700 per week (based on experience)
• Performance-based commission
