We're looking for a part time or full time nanny to care for our mature, intellectual 8 year old son and support as a mother's helper while we adjust to life with a newborn (baby due February 2018). Start date is week of January 22 - through July 1st 2018. A main task will be taking our son from Downtown Brooklyn to school on the Upper West Side by 8:30am and picking him up at 2:55pm and bringing him home to Brooklyn (and to after school activities) and helping with the evening routine. Depending on your schedule (students welcome), during the school day (between drop off and pickup), the Nanny could earn extra hours supporting as a mother's helper, including a mix of the following depending on the needs of the day: light cooking/meal prep, grocery shopping, dog walking, watching newborn, running errands. The main hours, however are 7:45-8:30am and then 2:55-6:30pm.

The ideal candidate will be

flexible cheerful reliable sense of humor comfortable on subway respectful with children (doesn't use "time-outs" as discipline) experienced with older children have excellent references (2 references required)
