    Job Description

    JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing information and customer service concerning the credit union and its products and services to credit union members, ensuring the highest quality of member service. Follow up on tickets from third- party vendor.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     Serves membership by providing service and information in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner via telephone or correspondence

     Continuously checks member service voicemail and email and replies in a timely manner

     Researches and resolves routine member questions, problems, and complaints concerning credit union accounts

     Cross-sells credit union products and services when appropriate

     Ensures that all credit union member and employee related business is kept in the strictest confidence

     Achieves minimum standards of sales goals

     Accepts and completes teller related requests (Account transfers, loan payments, check recorder, and disburse cashier checks)

     Assists in Online Banking or InterAct reactivations

     Assists in Online Banking or InterAct logon and /or password reset

     Assists in trouble shooting with all aspects of Mobile Banking, Tablet Banking and Bill Payment inquiries

     Assists in opening memberships via Originate

     Assists with review of IRA and HSA documentation to core and Ascensus

     Participates in Service Center Campaigns

     Maintains knowledge of credit union products, services, policies and procedures

     Maintains a professional appearance and image while conducting business with members and vendors

     Responsible for exceptional member service to every member, internal and external, every time by adhering to the ALEC Service Model

     Other duties as assigned

    SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     Assists or correct teller/MSR error entries

     Assists in review of loan closing documents to core processor and related checklists

     Provides notary service for members as needed

    EDUCATION:

     Required: High school diploma or equivalent

     Preferred: Associates degree in Business or related field

    EXPERIENCE:

     Required: Minimum one (1) year of customer service or retail sales experience

     Preferred: Minimum two (2) years of customer service or retail sales experience Knowledge of financial services industry

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

     Good communication and telephone skills

     Bilingual is a plus

     Ability to get along with coworkers, management, employees, members, and vendors

     Must be knowledgeable in PC based applications
