In this role, you'll be responsible for full-cycle sales, including identifying and obtaining new clients, creating estimates, procuring orders, and maintaining customer accounts. Abbruzzese Floors services Manhattan and the Tri-State area, therefore travel within this territory is part of the role as well. Responsibilities: • Develop and cultivate a qualified client base using a variety of marketing approaches, including cold calling, direct mail, email blasts, referrals, advertising, trade shows, entertainment, and other promotional activities, to meet and exceed monthly sales budget objectives • Attends trade shows, evening marketing events, and trade association meetings to acquire and retain clients, represent the company, and increase its presence in the community • Identifies and establishes the needs of each customer, utilizing selling techniques to demonstrate the value of Abbruzzese Floors Inc. and its services, while negotiating pricing and contract terms within company policy • Solicits business through various methods and generates new business in assigned territories • Plans, organizes, and schedules work, including estimating and selling projects per company guidelines, and develops expertise in concepts and knowledge of estimating all types of projects • Analyzes plans, specifications, and other documentation to assist in job costing and formulation of estimates, consulting with clients, vendors, and other individuals to discuss and resolve issues • Respond to customer concerns promptly and appropriately, maintaining close, positive working relationships with all departments and personnel, while overseeing, monitoring, and auditing assigned job sites for quality control through on-site visits • Assists in training sales and support team members as needed, participating actively in professional and trade organizations, and providing input to industry councils • Creates and reviews personal sales and business development plans regularly with immediate supervisor to ensure success, while developing, submitting, implementing, managing, and reporting on sales goals and business development plans in accordance with company policies and systems • Maintains product knowledge of existing and new services offered by the company, gathers and forwards information on competitor activities, assists in collections from delinquent accounts, and represents the company to customers within an assigned geographic area Qualifications: • Exceptional communication skills are a must • Organizational skills and time management are critical to success • Strong Microsoft Office Google Workspace Skills • Must be comfortable working independently • Must be comfortable with various technology platforms • Valid US Driver's License • Must have reliable car Compensation: $55,000 + Commissions
