    SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR NEEDED

    Abbson is seeking a talented Social Media Coordinator to join our growing Marketing team. The Social Media Coordinator will work closely alongside the Director of Marketing to to execute long- and short-term digital marketing plans through copywriting, graphic creation, simple video creation, and campaign scheduling across digital properties. Our ideal candidate is creative, forward-thinking, is organized at a high level and shows strong attention to detail, is both driven and self-motivated, and is always attentive and engaged when interacting with talent, team members, and clients. ABBSON EMPLOYEES MUST BE COMFORTABLE WORKING ON ALL TYPES OF POLITICALLY CONSERVATIVE CONTENT.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist with planning and implementing social media, email, digital advertising, and web content calendars to engage audiences and support brand and business objectives

    • Coordinate with the Marketing Operations Coordinator to develop and manage the daily content calendars and posting schedules

    • Design and produce graphic content for social and web platforms

    • Write and produce engaging and compelling short- and long-form content for social and web platforms

    • Work closely with the Director of Marketing to execute and produce a steady stream of relevant and impactful short- and long-form videos for use on social and web platforms

    • Integrate client and team feedback into content, deliverables, and projects as needed

    • Activate audiences across social media platforms through user interaction and engagement, live social posting, and constant creative optimization based on proven user preferences

    • Ensure consistency in messaging, brand voice, and aesthetic within brands and clients

    • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to optimize titles, descriptions, format, copy, and graphics for all social media, web, and email content

    • Work closely with the Marketing Operations Coordinator to track KPIs across all social media, web, email, and paid advertising platforms

    • Assist with administrative tasks to maintain client files and accounts

    • Other tasks as assigned

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 

    • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. institution of higher education

    • At least (1) year of proven marketing experience

    • A specialized knowledge of social media platforms, content creation workflows and processes, and best practices related to growing and engaging users on digital platforms

    • A working knowledge of digital advertising platforms including Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Twitter Ads, and more

    • A working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and other photo editing and graphic design software

    • Proficient with personal computer operation, Microsoft Office, and G Suite

    EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time; non-exempt

    COMPENSATION RANGE: $50,000 / year

    WORK LOCATION: Manhattan, NY (in-office required)

    START DATE: Immediate

    REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing
