    Job Description

    The Product Manager is responsible to support enhancement, validation, and maintenance of various supply chain planning applications including Oracle Fusion ERP Suite’s Supply Planning, Order Management, Global Trade Management, and Global Order Promising applications, and Kinaxis Demand and Supply Planning. She/he will champion the use of product discovery as part of the process to introduce new software features/functionalities to satisfy business needs. Possessing strong organizational and coordination skills to manage the wide range of different stakeholders within Abcam, the role performs the following key activities:

    · Collaborate with business colleagues to understand future software functionality requirements, raising change requests with Abcam’s managed services provider and raising ideas with Oracle to help drive new software features and functionalities

    · Work with team members from the business, digital, and vendors to understand and document functional and data requirements that are needed to create technical specifications

    · Cross-train and collaborate with other digital product managers who are responsible for other modules within the Oracle fusion stack, Kinaxis Demand and Supply Planning, and Manhattan Associates Warehouse Management System Software Manhattan Scale

    · Interacts with other teams, internal and external, to ensure application, data interface, and/or infrastructure issues are resolved in a timely manner

    · Attend conferences and events with the wider Oracle user community to understand the product roadmap for Oracle’s and Kinaxis’ supply planning products

    · Develop and own test scripts and participate in unit and cross-functional testing activities to support the quarterly Oracle patch cycle

    · Work with abcam’s managed services provider to support the testing of functional enhancements and the resolution of defects

    · Coordinates and manages small to mid-size projects between various internal and external partners to ensure work is completed in a timely and satisfactory manner

    · Support other business initiatives as may be required

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Qualifications;

    · B.S. or advance degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

    · 3 to 5+ years of IT/Digital Supply chain experience; must be a member of an organization’s IT/Digital group or professional services or product development team of a Supply Chain Software company; more experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

    · At least 2+ years of experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion, Kinaxis, Oracle (on-prem) or equivalent industry leading supply planning software is mandatory

    · Solid understanding of Supply Chain planning processes for life science, bio-tech, or pharmaceutical industry is desired, but not mandatory

    · Good oral and/or written communication skills

    · Presentation skills

    · Attention to details

    · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    · Skilled in converting business requirements into functional design

    · Proven history of on time, on budget and quality delivery of small projects

    · Experienced in business requirement documentation, requirement tracing to testing, and user acceptance criteria definition

    · Knowledge and experience with SDLC methodologies such as Agile and modified Waterfall
