    Job Description

    The PIM Application Development Technical Lead will provide technical direction and will be responsible for development, operations and support of our PIM application used by various internal business merchants who enrich the data in PIM. In this role, you will work closely with business and internal technology teams and external technology partners that support the Integrations, multiple source systems (RMS/PLM/Mi9 /Omniture/CAT etc.) and several target systems (ecommerce and third-party systems).

    WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

    • Responsible for providing technical leadership, direction, alignment, and implementation of technical projects that affect PIM application
    • Invest in continual improvements to tooling or technical debt and ensure that the system evolves to meet changing needs and environment.
    • Build and maintain features within A&F's internal system PIM/MDM used by Site Merchants, Photo Studio, Copy Writers and Product Merchants who enrich data and deliver the required attribution to the Ecommerce systems and other third-party systems
    • Implement rapid changes to meet changing business and Site Merchants requirements and provide data governance based on Ecommerce and third-party systems
    • Design, develop and maintain PIM inbound and outbound integration end points
    • Maintain SQL API’s by allowing enterprise team to access specific views/product data with queries
    • Research and develop proof of concepts (POCs) for future enhancements and improve specific business process which ease specific business cases
    • Analyzing and diagnose any issues which may impact performance or availability in the PIM environment
    • Develop functional and technical documentation on assigned projects
    • Communicate clearly and effectively with management and business partners whenever issues arise and provide necessary resolution based on severity
    • Participate in 24/7 on-call production support in rotation with other team members
    • Follow agile-scrum software development methodology by participating in the daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming and sprint retrospective meetings.
    • Continuously improve IT platforms based on retail technology trends to support  business strategies

    WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO BRING?

    •  Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or related disciplines
    • 12+ years of experience in a related field with at least 8 years of PIM experience
    • Expert knowledge on STIBO STEP implementation – which includes; STEP Configuration; STEP WebUI, workflows and business rules, STEPXML and integration endpoint
    • 5+ years of experience in data management
    • 3+ years of RDBMS experience and very strong in SQL
    • Exposure to the integration services such as IBM ESB/EWS and ETL tools such as Data Stage is good to have
    • Proven interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Excellent technical, analytical, and customer service skills
    • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast paced environment
    • Ability to rapidly learn new software and maintain competency with technologies
    • Ability to work flexible hours
