    Job Description

    The primary responsibility of the Integrations Manager is to work with A&F IT engineering leaders/teams and business community to ensure enterprise integrations are designed and built utilizing integrations standards, design patterns and practices set forth by Integrations Center for Enablement (C4E).

    They will oversee the integrations team supporting traditional on-prem ESB/SOA/Apigee/Globalscape/MQ platforms, maintenance of business, and stability while transforming and migrating to centrally managed globally distributed modern integrations architecture promoting decentralized ownership. They will facilitate the adoption of integration design patterns, best practices, DevOps, test driven development, and simplification of integrations within the organization. They will work with engineering teams and architects to design solutions which meet enterprise standards.

    In addition, the Integrations Manager will be responsible for identifying/promoting emerging technology trends in integrations space to ensure the company is leveraging them when appropriate to increase efficiency, drive business agility, reduce costs, and drive value.

    WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

    • TEAM UP with the engineering leaders and Enterprise Architecture(EA) to develop design patterns, accelerators, templates, best practices, and KPIs for modern integrations development for faster, simpler, and more efficient integrations in decentralized ownership

    • OVERSEE INTEGRATIONS C4E enabling engineering teams across IT in building and driving the consumption of assets successfully enabling speed and agility

    • Partner in the modern integration transformation to adopt more innovative technologies, including event streaming, cloud-centric architecture, and domain-based API/microservices

    • Drive migration of 1000+ INTEGRATIONS from diverse on-prem technologies onto modern integrations platform. Drive adoption of a Centrally managed and globally distributed platform.

    • Collaborate with project portfolio management team and technology stakeholders on integrations solutions design ensuring integrations standards and practices building scalable and flexible solution

    • PARTNER WITH THE INFRASTRUCTURE AND SECURITY TEAMS on DevOps, solutions design, centralized logging/monitoring, and transformation efforts to ensure proper scope, resources and costs allocated for needs

    • Serve as an evangelist in promoting and adopting self-service APIs, event streams, integrations standards and practices across IT

    • Ensure that all application development initiatives are well managed and delivered to meet expectations on functionality, timeliness, and cost.

    • Lead and/or participate on technical user groups, task forces, and committees

    WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO BRING?

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 10-15 years experience in various roles of technical leadership within a large-scale organization

    • Personal Attributes: Self-starter, Collaborative, Curious, Strong work ethic, Highly motivated, Team oriented

    • Successfully led integrations and delivery of complex business technology solutions into production that have achieved or surpassed business goals.

    • Experience with modern integrations development and design concepts; software development lifecycle; project management; advanced and systems administration practices and principles; planning, design, and problem resolution  

    • Experience with management and supervisory practices leading people; human resource practices  

    • Experience in leading engineering team in delivering quality software solutions.  

    • Knowledge of emerging trends and developments in Azure cloud, API/micro services, ESB, Event driven and container-based technologies.  

    • Demonstrated ability in developing a culture that embraces innovation, and challenges existing paradigms.  

    • Able to manage a team using a diverse environment of integration tools and platforms along with driving modern integrations transform. This includes incumbent portfolio investments (IBM MQ, Oracle ESB, SOA, Apigee) to intermediates (REST APIs, Microservices, GraphQL, etc.) to event driven architecture (Kafka)

    • Provide leadership and management to build high-performing teams and continuously upskill team members to keep them current thru professional development programs

    • Ability to prioritize personal and team responsibilities to meet organizational objectives

    • Drive the cultural changes necessary to enable a continuous delivery model, decentralized integration, and foster a strong focus on automation and agile delivery methods.

    • Willingness to learn new things and adapt quickly to a team and enterprise undergoing positive transformation  

    • High interpersonal skills to operate in a large, distributed, and diverse global technology team  

    • Success working as a technical leader in a large enterprise organization  

    • Knowledge of traditional integration tools and patterns such as Oracle SB/MQ/Batch processing/Globalscape enterprise file transfer

    • Sets team goals to ensure the success of the department in accordance with milestones developed by IT Senior Management

    • Develop and retain high caliber software development talent

    • Ability to foster a culture of transparency and a sense of purpose among the team and create clear accountabilities and metrics
