    Job Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Stores HRBP Intern is responsible for providing support to the Global Stores HR Business Partner (HRBP) team in order to drive the growth of the organization.  The primary responsibilities include creating training and communication materials for the stores’ management teams, fielding intake emails or calls to the HRBP team regarding employee relations issues, processing transactional associate requests, and compiling data to aid the continued growth of initiatives within the Stores HR function. Additionally, this role involves project management and support on a variety of HR initiatives along with administrative tasks to support ongoing HR processes. This role requires the ability to build business partnerships with various cross-functional teams.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with creating HR communication and training documents (ie. presentations, organizational charts, store communication, etc.)
    • Assist with data entry and collection for HR investigations and projects
    • Complete administrative tasks for ongoing HR responsibilities (ie. processing employment record changes, maintaining spreadsheets, updating project trackers, creating employment verification letters, engagement program support, etc.)
    • Maintain team files and records
    • Support state-specific work rule compliance initiatives
    • Support HRBP team and cross-functional partners with project planning and execution
    • Attend and contribute to team meetings and discussions

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Intern candidates must be available to work in New Albany, Ohio starting Summer 2021 through Spring 2022, with option to extend

    • University student, pursuing degree in HR or related field preferred
    • Trustworthy with confidential information
    • Ability to stay organized, prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • High attention to detail 
    • Data analysis and problem-solving abilities
    • Adobe InDesign capability preferred 
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
