Job Description

The Sophomore Summit provides a unique opportunity to explore a variety of career paths in corporate retail at A&F. This year’s three-day virtual event will provide students the opportunity to network with recent graduates at A&F, and learning about different roles in a fun, low-pressure environment.  Through interacting with senior level leaders, former interns and current associates, attendees will discover the impact A&F associates have on millions of dollars of business each day.   

What Will You Be Doing? 

• Gain exposure and a better understanding of the retail industry and life at A&F

• Learn about the variety of internship opportunities within the A&F LDPs including Merchandising, Finance, Information Technology, Business Analytics and Design 

• Hear from former interns about their Summer experience 

• Practice networking with recruiters, industry professionals and students from across the country 

• Team up and gain hands on experience by completing an interactive “day in the life” case study

What Do You Need to Bring? 

• Expected graduation year of 2022

• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA 

• Passion for the A&F brands  

• Curiosity about a career in corporate retail 

• Ability to thrive and collaborate in team-based settings  

• Proven leadership experience 

• Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment 

• Desire to learn more!

The Sophomore Summit will be held July 21st – 23rd virtually through TEAMS (no download necessary).  

Day One: Let’s BE CURIOUS and learn! (all day) 

Day Two: TEAM UP in breakout groups on a case study (4 hour time commitment) 

Day Three: SHOW UP and share out on what you’ve learned (4 hour time commitment)  

There will be a select number of spots available and invites will occur on a rolling basis. 

To be eligible for consideration, students must also submit their unofficial transcripts and resumes, complete with cumulative GPA and SAT and/or ACT breakdown scores attached.
