    Job Description

    The Manager of the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) is a key business partner to many areas of the enterprise including human resources, asset protection, risk management, travel, supply chain, store maintenance and store operations. This individual is responsible for all global security operations: team development, service, operations and strategy. This person will ensure that the global security operations team is a leader in supporting the Abercrombie & Fitch enterprise and will successfully support the needs of key business partners. This person will play a key role in reinforcing Abercrombie & Fitch’s awareness of and resilience to global threats. This person will successfully leverage technology and intelligence products to increase the team’s capabilities. The GSOC Manager reports to the Sr. Director of Asset Protection and has multiple direct reports.   

    WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

    • Manage a 24/7/365 operations team in alignment with companywide goals
    • Recruit, train, and develop the operations team to react responsively and urgently to incidents and business needs
    • Be a subject matter expert in all GSOC functions and on Global Security issues
    • Oversite of the Global Travel Security Program
    • Analyzes threat and risk trends, preparing assessments for enterprise stakeholders
    • Source and leverage new technologies and risk intelligence programs
    • Manage the physical security technology program and create a multi-year roadmap based on company growth and current market trends
    • Manage access control systems for corporate campus, satellite offices, and flagships
    • Build and maintain positive third party relationships in multiple global markets
    • Manage department budget including line item budget and forecasting
    • Work closely with global authorities to support global traveler and associate safety
    • Develop and manage crisis response and risk mitigation policies and procedures

    WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?

    • 4-year degree
    • 6+ years experience in Loss Prevention, Security, or related field
    • Strong leadership skills and proven success with the recruitment, development, and management of a team of individuals
    • Ability to support and motivate a 24/7/365 operation
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Possess a positive attitude and ability to adapt in an evolving environment
    • Knowledge of current world and political issues
    • International travel experience preferred
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Successful completion of criminal background investigation
    • Previous experience in development and implementation of security policies
    • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment and manage competing priorities
    • Previous experience in crisis management and travel safety is highly desired
