The Retail Experience, Concept & Design Manager drives store concept by being a visionary with the ability to create new and first brand appropriate ideas while maintaining an OMNI focus. This person is future focused, customer-centric and dedicated to creating the ultimate “phygital” experience for our brands. This person drives results while managing creation and implementation of both creative and strategic concepts. In addition to driving results, this person is a great collaborator across all functions, understanding the importance teaming up while immersing themselves and their teams into our brands.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Concept Responsibilities
- Leads the in-store “phygital” experience vision by being brand oriented, future-focused, customer-centric and creatively driven.
- Maintains keen focus on all elements of the experience including, but not limited to sight, sound, smell, touch and mindfulness.
- Concepts and designs new & evolved store experiences, including inspiration gathering, material boards, renderings, elevations, mock-ups, fixture development, etc.
- Maintains strong partnership with Marketing and Product teams to support brand strategies and initiatives
Store Design Responsibilities
- Maintains strong partnership with Real Estate and Construction teams to support capital project plans and project budget management
- Manage the planning and implementation of Global Real Estate projects through store design which includes all new stores, current fleet evolution and optimization, market expansions, store closures, store down-sizes, store relocations and experience remodels.
- Oversees Store Designers to ensure store concept translation within various store formats
- Manages Store Designers end to end project management which includes feasibility studies, proposed store planning and approved store implementation
WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO BRING?
- 4-year degree, preferable in Interior Design, Architecture or Industrial Design
- 5-7 years of work experience, 3 or more years of retail design experience required
- Proficient use of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Sketch-up, 3D Modeling Programs)
- Knowledge of general domestic & international code restrictions
- General understanding of constructability
- Organized and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Self-motivated – ability to work independently and drive results
- Team player – collaborate effectively with a team and diverse group of business partners
- Receptive to feedback from team and multiple business partners
- Energetic, positive, creative problem solving with a solution-based outlook
- Good communication skills
