DCS - NOC / NIGHT SHIFT - Upland Ability Pathways - Upland, CA 91786 Full-time, Part-time Direct Care Staff Positions for 6-Bed Adults DDS HomesNIGHT (NOC) SHIFT)* We are currently looking to hire 2 experienced part time (which possibly can turn into full time) for NOC SHIFT. MUST HAVE NOC SHIFT EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A DDS 6-BED HOME.Shifts various depending on the house you are assigned (10pm to 6pm or 12Midnight to 8pm). Experiences in meds and G-Tubes is required. Must have at least 1 year experience working as a NOC Staff. Responsibilities: 1. Provides clients with help moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, and with dressing and grooming. We use Hoyer Lifts. 2. Ensures clients are clean, dry, and all essential adaptive equipment is properly in place such as arm splints, seat belts, and abdominal binders. 3. Follows the training program as outlined in the client's ISP -- Individual Service Plan. 4. Respects and promotes the individual rights of clients including maintaining the dignity of each person during daily care procedures. 5. Provides direct client care and other related duties as assigned by supervisor(s) and/or nursing staff. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.- Ability to follow directions, both written and oral, in English to perform duties.- Interest and concern for people with developmental disabilities, and possess sufficient patience and understanding to deal with their special needs.- Must attend scheduled in-service training and various other trainings as required.- Ability to work cooperatively with staff in all departments.
