Job Description

Duties include but not limited to: Day to day running of the Service Department and all Service Technicians. Scheduling, delegating people & resources, training, on-call schedules, hiring/firing, working with HR as needed, liaison with customers, vendors, engineers, generation of quotations, estimates, proposals, issuing PO's, etc. Close support of the New Construction - HVAC group's projects' start up with PM's, site supervisors, etc. Coordination with Maintenance, Plumbing, Production, & Safety Managers on any related projects or needs. Follow up on proposals, bid tracking, and customer out-reach; potential cold calling of inactive customers; general account maintenance as to PMs, conflict resolution & warranty work; support of coordination with Inside & Outside Sales-Estimators as needed. Expeditious billing to accounting for timely invoicing, record keeping, and inventory management. Emphasis on growing the department and increasing its' profitability. Flexibility as to role given.
