    THE ROLE:

    In this role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing successful yield strategies to ensure that our expanding collection of travel accommodations meets or exceeds its full revenue potential. Additionally, as a Revenue and Data Analyst, you'll work across teams to uncover and present insights that will drive critical business decisions essential to Abode’s success. WHAT YOU’LL DO AT ABODE: • Command inventory and rate strategies for properties across all distribution channels and segments, including direct bookings, OTAs, furnished housing, relocations, and managed providers

    • Develop and administer price optimization for all Abode locations, including developing Revenue and RevPAR targets and a plan to achieve the defined objectives

    • Become an expert on Abode's markets, demand drivers, customer segments, and competition to help maximize revenue

    • Evaluate market and property rate factors to set target prices

    • Define and maintain rate structure within our dynamic pricing software

    • Craft, deploy and test promotional tactics to optimize revenue production

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams throughout the organization to provide business analytics to inform inventory management, acquisition, and turnover decisions

    • Perform comparative analysis on varying rate structures, software tools, and methods and co-develop strategies with senior leadership and external partners

    • Develop quantitative market analysis and work with key members of the finance and leadership teams to forecast future performance for each location and market segment

    • Prepare and distribute timely market, location, and property-specific performance reports and work with leadership to assess strategy modifications, as warranted. 

    • Outline, institute, analyze, and regularly report revenue performance, pacing, pick-up, and other key metrics and outcomes to decision-makers

    • Use your analytical abilities to transform quantitative data and qualitative observations into actionable insights. Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments utilizing various metrics ranging from comp-set analysis, NPS scores, historical performance, and forecasts to generate business intelligence to assist with tasks ranging from real-estate acquisitions to day-to-day operations

    • Implement strategies and develop BI tools to support teams across the organization

    • Support the success of our sales, reservations, and guest experience stakeholders by developing and driving adherence to a rate-quoting and approval method to optimize RevPAR despite variable seasonal demand

    • Work with our integrations, onboarding, and software partners to develop future revenue at new locations

    • Assist the growth, finance, and revenue teams with building evergreen business processes and practices and support leadership by analyzing decisions related to automation, outsourcing, and retention

    • Evaluate prospective deal-flow alongside stakeholders from our growth and finance teams QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 3+ years of revenue management and strategic rate pricing experience across multiple properties, and financial analysis, or similar analytical field with a proven track record of success

    • You are data-driven when accessing opportunities and approach decisions with an analytical mind

    • You're prudent but decisive and can move quickly when the situation calls for you to do so. You understand that in revenue management, there are actual costs associated with lost opportunities

    • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in an analytical field such as economics, computer science, mathematics, statistics, data science, finance, operations management, or engineering

    Abode is a remote-first workforce, and our employees can work from anywhere as long as they have a quiet, dedicated place to conduct business.
