Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chief Medical Officer to join our team! As the Chief Medical Officer, you will oversee all aspects of the Urgent Care Center's daily operations. You will serve as a liaison between staff and administration, ensure all healthcare regulations are upheld and implement new and innovative ways to improve the services we provide. The ideal candidate is an excellent leader with a deep understanding of clinical risk management and medical knowledge.

Responsibilities

Create and implement short and long-term success strategies for the Urgent Care Center’s continued success

Identify and address the facility’s weaknesses

Provide leadership and foster engagement of personnel

Serve as a liaison between medical staff and administration

Promote the Urgent Care Center’s vision, mission, and company values

Research and implement new approaches to improving patient care

Evaluate, track, and report on company performance and goals

Train mid level providers on current processes and procedures when necessary

Look over physician assistants / FNPs charts

Answer medical questions from staff and patients when needed

Work around 40 hours/week . Possibly part time can be negotiated

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Chief Medical Officer is preferred

A current medical degree is necessary

Extensive knowledge of clinical risk management

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
