Technology Officer
We are looking for a reliable Office Administrator/Technology officer to provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business. You will be tasked to ensure our company's technologies are used appropriately. Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts.. The position will flex between tech needs and office needs while working from home and in the office. They will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the office staff and field personnel has adequate support to work efficiently. The tasks of the office administrator will include managing scheduling softwares, APs/ARs, company computers/phone intergration and continuity, job costing, permits, rebates and overall company needs working with other office personnel and field personnel. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy. The office administrator ensures smooth running of our company's offices and contributes in driving sustainable growth. Responsibilities Develop technical aspects of the company's strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage Help departments use technology profitably Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency Build quality assurance and data protection processes Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.) Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary Submit timely reports and prepare power point and sales presentations/proposals/ maintenance agreements as assigned Assist colleagues whenever necessary Skills Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Attention to detail and following up thru a task until completion Excellent organizational and leadership skills Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software and more (ERP etc.) Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy Understanding of budgets and business-planning Ability to conduct technological analyses and research Excellent communication skills Leadership and organizational abilities Strategic thinking Problem-solving aptitude BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus
