Who We Are Looking For:
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Executive Assistant will provide entry-mid level administrative support and assistance to the COO and/or other assigned executive leadership staff. The Executive Assistant will assist by conducting research, preparing reports, and handling information requests, and preparing prompt and professional communication internally and externally. The Executive Assistant will act as a liaison between the COO and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and timely dissemination of information.
Requirements: This role is remote but will require some local travel and thus, the candidate will be required to be located in the Sarasota, FL or nearby area.
Pay rate: $22/hour + 10% performance bonus
**The candidate must have high proficiency/skills in the following: Microsoft Office Suite products, especially Excel & PowerPoint, other organizational/planning/documentation presentation software including but not limited to OneNote, Planner and Canva. Must have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. **

Primary Functions of the P osition will include:
- Assist in managing and maintaining schedules for COO and other leadership team members, as directed
- Coordinate and schedule travel, meetings, interviews and appointments, as directed
- Assist in the planning and coordination of meetings including meeting agenda, itinerary, travel, reservations, etc for meetings, as directed
- Prepare reports, documents, forms, communications, presentations and other documents using Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for COO and other executive leadership, as directed
- Review and proofread companywide communications, press releases and other documents
- Collaborate with COO and other leadership to gather necessary information and data for upcoming meetings; create visually engaging and information presentation using software like Microsoft PowerPoint. Assist in collecting, reviewing, and refining content to be included in presentations. Collaborate with different departments to ensure accuracy and relevance of information presented. Utilize design principles to enhance the visual appeal of presentations, incorporating appropriate graphics, charts, and images to convey information effectively. Stay up to date with presentation software features and trends, exploring innovative ways to elevate quality and impact of presentations.
- Assist in answering and returning phone calls and emails as directed
- Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions
- Conduct research, compile data, and prepare information to assist the COO in the decision-making process and for consideration and presentation by executives, committees, and boards of directors

Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Operations Management preferred or equivalent work experience
- 2-3 years of experience in administrative role; proven experience assisting high-level executives preferred
- Previous experience in Operations or related field preferred
