    A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTOMER ACCOUNT MANAGER

    Your role would be working on the Customer Service team, ensuring orders are moving through production for on-time delivery, while communicating with and providing 100% satisfaction to the customers.

    PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS NOT A SALES POSITION.

    · Receives, reviews, and enters purchase orders in ERP system in accordance with contractual obligations and internal requirements.

    · Monitors customer orders throughout production cycle to ensure the timely and successful delivery of parts according to customer needs and objectives.

    · Maintains and updates customer delivery schedules based upon production changes, internal issues and/or customer needs.

    · Maintains communication with customers by telephone or in person regarding lead times, production issues, reworks, or any other concerns. Follows up on all customer requests in a timely and effective manner.

    · Addresses customer complaints or concerns, takes appropriate action to resolve problems, and escalates issues as needed.

    · Coordinates with engineering and production departments in order to manage upcoming orders, changes to production schedules, customer changes to drawings and specifications, and any issues that may affect established lead times.

    · Creates shipping packages, including pack lists and all supporting documentation, and determines shipping method for customer orders based upon established lead times.

    · Performs other duties as assigned.

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED

    · An ideal team player mindset: people smarts, humility and drive.

    · High school diploma or equivalent required. BA/BS degree preferred.

    · 3 years of experience with a strong understanding of customer service and account management principles and practices.

    · Basic understanding in product workflow. Experience in the aerospace industry or manufacturing a plus.

    · Experience with VMI (vendor managed inventory) preferred.

    · Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.

    · Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint)

    · JobBoss knowledge a plus.

    · Ability to communicate and present effectively and professionally at all levels of an organization.

    · Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

    · Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry abilities.

    · Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

    · Strong organizational and time management skills.

    · Ability to quickly build positive working relationships with customers, as well as team members in other departments within the company

    THE EXTRA BENEFITS

    This position operates every Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Earlier start times may be requested with possible overtime hours.
